San Francisco Jewish Film FestivalBrand Identity
Founded in 1980, the San Francisco Jewish Film Festival (SFJFF) is the world’s largest and longest-running independent Jewish film festival, presenting bold works that expand and redefine Jewish stories. For their 45th Anniversary, I worked with SFJFF to create a dynamic identity and campaign to promote their lineup of 70 dramatic and documentary features, episodic programs, shorts, and more, presented at theatres across the Bay Area.

The design used a theme of gradients and cascading typography presented on black backgrounds to reference light, frames of film, and the intimacy and focus that a dark cinema affords art. Assets included five sizes of posters, a wide-variety of digital and print ads, motion graphics, pre-film slides and sponsor reels, event signage, and a festival program.
